FAQ

Common questions.

Answers to what students, parents, student founders, schools, and partner businesses ask most often. If yours isn't here, contact us — we'll add it.

For students

Student questions.

Getting started, memberships, and what actually happens when you buy LINK Concierge or join Circle.

+What is LINK, in one sentence?

LINK is a student-built venture network. You can take classes, use LINK Concierge, build or join a student venture, and turn ideas into proof before college.

+Is Stay in the LINK really free?

Yes. Stay in the LINK is the free email list. You get weekly drops, student founder notes, class previews, and first looks at new openings.

+What is LINK Circle and how much does it cost?

Circle is the paid membership. $29/mo or $299/yr for founding members. It includes weekly classes, self-paced courses, opportunity drops, team matching, and certificate eligibility. Circle Plus ($59/mo) and Founder Track ($129/mo) add more personalized support.

+Are LINK certificates accredited?

No. LINK issues certificates of completion — a record that you finished the required classes, assignments, and experience hours. They are not official or accredited credentials, and we're clear about that everywhere.

+How does Concierge work?

Pick a tier ($29, $79, or $149). Fill out a short intake form. We research and rank opportunities around you, then email a report with clear next steps. Reports typically deliver within a week.

+Is Concierge a college counselor?

No. LINK Concierge is opportunity research and ranked recommendations. It is not a substitute for a licensed college counselor or admissions consultant.

For student ventures + businesses

Working with LINK.

How Studio, partner projects, and Impact Club chapters actually work behind the scenes.

+Who actually does the work in Studio projects?

Student contractors deliver the work under LINK direction. All contracts, payments, taxes, and anything involving minors go through adult review. No client work starts until scope is signed off and a deposit is paid.

+Do you work with businesses outside student ventures?

Yes — but selectively. We curate one business partner per category (food, tech, wellness, retail, community, media) so student teams get real, ongoing experience with local partners instead of one-off gigs.

+What's the deal with Impact Club?

Impact Club is a licensed school chapter model. Starter is $199/year and Premium is $499/year. Your school gets officer roles, project templates, meeting formats, branding, and (Premium) monthly support.

For parents

Parent questions.

How LINK is structured, who's responsible, and what parents should know before their student joins.

+Who runs LINK?

LINK is founded and led by a high school student founder, Riya. Adults review taxes, contracts, worker classification, and anything involving minors. LINK is registered as a Limited Liability Company.

+What's the safety approach?

Classes are online. Student projects run under LINK direction with adult review on legal, financial, and minor-related matters. Any in-person events would follow standard youth safeguarding practices with parent/guardian consent.

+Can I get a refund?

LINK Concierge reports have a limited window for refund before research begins. Circle memberships can be canceled anytime. Studio projects have written scope and revision policies. Full policies live in the checkout flow and service agreement.
